Greca Etrusca Collection: the history of a city

The Greek Etruscan collection was born with the black and gold Greek bracelet homage to the Etruscan city of Arezzo, birthplace of the designer Francesca Bianchi.
The inspiration takes from the color and decorations that the Etruscans in Arezzo used to make ancient terracotta vases. The peculiarity of these vases was the color, not in red terracotta like common vases but in black with gold decorations.
The oldest brands are found on the black vases and date back to the century. II a. C.
This technique used to make black or brown vases is called “bucchero”.
The golden representations reproduced above the black terracotta color were already of geometric inspiration and told the myths and stories of the Etruscan people and beyond.
This is how the entire Greek Etruscan set and collection was born.
